Enterprise Estonia has the functions of the Investment Agency, Export Agency, National Tourism Board, Economic Development Board, Innovation Agency, Regional Development Agency and the National Space Agency combined. At Enterprise Estonia with its main office in Tallinn and foreign offices in 10 countries Martin was responsible for country branding, foreign direct investment to Estonia, increasing Estonia`s exports and country`s revenues from tourism. In addition Martin has also taken care of the Legal Department and Technology Investments at Enterprise Estonia. Before that Martin worked as the Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Estonia and was responsible for the legal and criminal policy of the country and for providing ministerial support to the Estonian Prosecution Service, the Estonian Forensic Science Institute and the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate. Martin has also worked as the Chief Prosecutor of the Northern District Prosecutor`s Office, the service area of which is the capital city Tallinn and the surrounding Harju County. Martin has a degree in law from the University of Tartu and he has also studied one year in the US at Souhegan High School in New Hampshire. Martin is also an attorney at Magnusson. After a year in stockbroking and private client investment sales, he joined BNP Paribas London in 2010 as Due Diligence Officer, specialising in new fund creation. He moved to BNPP's Repo Sales Desk a year later, providing coverage and operational support across fixed income repo, money markets and shortend credit & rates. He left London for Tallinn in late 2017 and joined NordicProperty in January 2018. Tim holds a Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals from the Association of Corporate Treasurers in London. In his free time, he enjoys French cookery, weightlifing and sacred music. |
